About Me
My name is Tanisha Dennis (Sister Tanisha). I am a true Philly girl at heart as I was born, raised, and educated here. I attended Central High School and Temple University and received my Bachelor's of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management. I have also worked as a substitute teacher in Philadelphia charter schools for a couple of years. Activism is what ultimately led to my decision to become an educator.

Since social justice is what led me here, my approach to educating is very cultural and takes into account the various ways that the current school system fails Black and Brown children.

In addition I plan to teach my scholars leadership skills which I believe will empower them academically as well as in other areas of their personal lives.
