Brother Fernando Polanco

Fernando Polanco began his teaching career in 2005 as an aide for an English as a Second Language classroom.  He spent several years teaching preschool while attending Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where he earned his B.A. in History in 2013. He has taught U.S History, World History, and Spanish at the High School level and is currently working on his Masters degree in Education.  A native speaker of Spanish, he has spent his whole life traveling to Colombia visiting family, and studying Latin culture and history. He is very excited to return to Sankofa for a second year to share his knowledge of the Spanish language with our servant leader scholars.
