All activities posted can also be found under "Useful Links" on the lefthand side at any time.

Week of 5/26- Emotion Management
When you feel strong emotions it is hard to think clearly. However, when we do not manage our strong emotions it can lead to negative behavior and consequences. This week we will learn what triggers our emotions and also learn how to manage our body's response to stress and conflict.

Week of 5/26- Managing Frustration (Grades K-1)

Teaching children the coping strategies can help them manage strong emotions. Being able to name their feelings and practice Calming-Down Steps will help students manage their emotions appropriately and feel positive in coping with frustration, anger, or worry.

Positive Self-Talk:

How we think and talk to ourselves frames how we look at life. If we are always thinking in a negative mindset, our outlook on life will be negative. If we think positively our outlook on life will be more positive. For today, instead of being negative, change your thinking and tell yourself a more positive story!
