A Guide to Navigate Study Island

Sister Amanda and Mama Angie have created assignments for second grade scholars to work on using the Study Island website. We have created both math and literacy tasks. Scholars will have a short lesson to read through (The site can read the lessons out loud.), practice problems, and games related to the specific skill. We, the teachers, will be able to monitor the scholars use and success with each task assigned. We just received the ability to utilize Study Island and due to the recent events our scholars are not familiar with Study Island. However, we felt that Study Island would be extremely helpful for our scholars during this time. We are providing step by step instructions on how to navigate Study Island.

Navigating Study Island:

  1. Type studyisland.com into your browser.
  2. Type in scholars username (will be provided).
  3. Type in password = sfa09
  4. On the left in blue click on My Classes
  5. A box will appear that says Kush. A green box will say View Assignments. Click on View Assignments.
  6. Click on the green arrow to begin each assignment.

Should you have any concerns or questions please email Mama Angie at a.boyd@sfacs.us
